Has been practicing Wado since 1978, with Tatsou Suzuki Sensei and is one of the main instructors in the SWR (Sweden Wado Ryu).

In the 80 - and 90's he was a member of the Wado karate national team and coached later kumite team in nearly 15 years.
 

In the early 90s he began with Ju Jutsu and has always worked with the clutch Wado Karate and Ju Jutsu.

He has been training for menkyu kaiden Toby Threadgill on several occasions, but also studied for different sensei around the world such as John Wicks 8 dan Wado Ryu, Bob Nash 7 dan Wado Kai, Gianni Rossatto 10 Dan Ju Jutsu, Errol Field 6 dan judo.

He has been running Köpings Karate Club since 1983 and Köping Martial Arts since 1999 now with Wado Ryu karate, Kodokan Judo, Ju Jutsu (BJJ) and MMA.
 

Together with one of his training partners, Rosendahl Sensei, they have studied the art of Budo and they have been training together for over 30 years.

They have been giving seminars and training camps in Japan & Europe like Scandinavia, Germany, Greece, Italy, England, Hungary etc, and in the USA.

His training is based on Wado Ryu Karate Do and modern Ju Jutsu and Judo.
 

Hansson Sensei special interests lies in the study of inashi, seichusen, kuzushi and irimi and try to understand these in Wado and be able to link these principles in to the modern mix martial art.
